All this madness ends on Friday. Good Lord. I am focusing my efforts on writing the paragraph for my show and getting all the last minute elements together for the signs themselves. I have tried to leave the signs alone for a bit and go back to them with fresh eyes, and I think it has helped convey the proper ideas effectively. The next post I want to share with you all is from the actual receptions, both the faculty and public shows. This is a great photo, I think. Perfectly imperfect. Idolization. All of it. Tupac is such a martyr to so many, and his idolization and following can be studied extensively in pop culture and the internet.
This photo represents a lot of the things that I am trying to say about the occupy movement, college loans, and entitlement of recent grads. Without really saying it, they are saying it. They are bringing attention to themselves, but my concern is that there might be to little actions taken to change the problem. Hot damn, I love a good social commentary.
